A macroeconomic report labeled, Spending Pulse, reported that November’s sales momentum has continued into the second week of December making steady increases in sales. In comparison with Chistmas of 2009, the sale of jewelry during this season has improved by 2.9%

$11 Million Dollar Tree, The Ornament of Attention

The luxurious Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi, renowned for hosting the 11 million dollar Jewel adorned Christmas tree, is under criticism.  Some critics have claimed that the 40 foot tree is too extravagant and being over the top with its 181 diamonds, pearls, emeralds, sapphires and other precious stones.

It’s not unusual for this seven star establishment to embellish its fortune as their one week stay package values at one million dollars. Of course, the perks for the one million include a personal butler and chauffer driven luxury car and private jet to visit local countries within the region.
